1S-LSD ban in Germany

⚠️ UPDATE 01.12.2025

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

The New Psychoactive Substances Act (NpSG) was published today. You can view the document here. The law will come into effect on December 2, 2025, and will prohibit all affected products in Germany.

All payments received late will be refunded, and open orders will be canceled.

⚠️ UPDATE 21.11.2025

IMPORTANT UPDATE

The Federal Council officially approved the draft legislation today. A speech was given that focused particularly on 1S-LSD and the haphazardly placed 1S-LSD vending machines. Anyone interested can watch the speech on this topic here.

What does that mean exactly?

The law will be published in the coming weeks. It will only come into effect upon publication, at which point the service must be discontinued. The exact date is currently unclear.

In recent years, the law has typically been published within two weeks of the Federal Council meeting. However, it could theoretically come into effect as early as Monday, November 24, 2025.

This offer is valid while supplies last. As soon as stocks are depleted or the law is published, we will discontinue the sale of the affected products. Orders received after the product has sold out or too late will have to be canceled. Of course, we will refund the order value in this case.

Since there is currently no legal alternative product to 1S-LSD in sight, we recommend taking advantage of this last opportunity.

⚠️ UPDATE 19.11.2025

⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE – Only 2 Days Left Until the Decision

This Friday, the next amendment to the NpSG will be voted on – this time with a clear expansion of the substance groups, which would bring 1S-LSD and several related derivatives fully under the law. According to the revised draft, substances such as 1BS-LSD, 1SB-LSD, NB-DMT, various OH-HHC variants, 3,4-EtMC, ODSMT, and others would also no longer be legally available.

If the Bundesrat approves the amendment on Friday, the new ban could take effect just a few days later.

We can only ship as long as stock lasts. Orders placed too late or after the stock is sold out must be cancelled – with a full refund, of course.

Since no legal successor product to 1S-LSD is expected at this point, we recommend placing orders before Friday.

⚠️ UPDATE 24.10.2025

Printed draft 534/25 was recently published, in which 1S-LSD and other derivatives are to be included in the New Psychoactive Substances Act (NpSG). This new version, following the rejection of the overly general draft wording of September 26, proposes silylated variants such as 1S-LSD (to be supplemented with “silicon”). This is therefore a classic regulation based on substance groups and mass.

Also on the hit list are:

  • 1BS-LSD
  • 1SB-LSD
  • NB-DMT
  • 10-OH-HHC
  • 10-OH-HHCA
  • 8-OH-HHC
  • 3,4-EtMC
  • ODSMT
  • and some more

According to the draft, 1S-LSD will therefore no longer be permitted.

The next Federal Council meeting is on November 21.

It is currently expected that a ban will come into force at the end of November.

Demand is high and our stocks are low. As was the case at the Federal Council meeting in September: only while stocks last. All orders received late will be canceled and payments will of course be refunded. Please understand that we do not know the exact time when the law will be announced. Once our stocks are depleted, we will unfortunately have to cancel and refund any orders or payments received late.

Since a legal successor to 1S-LSD is unlikely, we recommend stocking up in advance.

⚠️ UPDATE 07.10.2025

It appears that the German government rejects the blanket ban wording of the current draft law on LSD analoges.

This has led to a great deal of uncertainty at the moment. The draft law under discussion, dated September 26, which lists substances such as nitrous oxide, is not yet online and therefore not legally binding. On September 26, the Federal Council proposed expanding the wording of the NpSG, which would prohibit “Δ9,10-ergolene” (the basic LSD structure) and thus all other unknown derivatives. However, the federal government rejected this proposal, arguing that the wording was too vague and would violate the principle of clarity enshrined in the Basic Law.

What exactly does the “principle of clarity” mean in this context?
➡️ Laws must not be worded too vaguely.
➡️ Every citizen must be able to know in advance whether a substance is prohibited or not.

However, this does not mean the issue is off the table. A different, clearer formulation is being called for. A blanket statement, “everything similar to LSD is prohibited,” would be too vague and thus unconstitutional. Therefore, a clear and technically precise description of which structures are prohibited is now required. Nevertheless, LSD derivatives remain in focus.

The next Federal Council meeting will take place on October 17. The agenda for this meeting has already been published. The NpSG is not currently on the agenda. Whether this topic will be added later is unclear. We will keep you updated.

In short: 1S-LSD is still not currently prohibited in Germany.

⚠️ UPDATE 16.09.2025

Unfortunately, we don’t have any good news to report today. As expected, additional submissions on the NPSG have been made for the upcoming Federal Council meeting (September 26, 2025). The statements contained therein clearly outline the current political direction. What is certain, however, is that if this change is implemented, it will be the end of LSD derivatives in Germany.

What exactly happened?

With document 366/1/25, the Committee of Experts has now recommended including the molecular framework of LSD (all substances with the basic structure Δ9,10-ergolene – the ergoline core of LSD) as an assessment criterion in the NpSG. The intention is therefore not to regulate protecting groups by atoms/substituents as in the past, but to prohibit the “core of the evil.”

The document states:
„It is considered necessary, as part of the amendment of the NpSG, to also tighten the prohibition of LSD derivatives and to prevent circumvention by already known or future derivatives (e.g. 1S-LSD):

What does this mean?

The announcement is significantly sharper than in previous years. This proposed adjustment means for Germany that as soon as the ergoline skeleton is mentioned in the law, there is no longer any legally secure option for subsequent derivatives. The skeleton itself is now the anchor. It is essentially a blanket ban on the LSD molecule.

This may shock many and, given the many artificially spread scaremongering measures of recent years, also seem implausible. However, the public document 366/1/25 clearly formulates the intention. Instead of side chains and mass limits in the NpSG, the aim is now simply to ban the basic substance as a “diabolical evil.”

And now?

It all depends on the final wording of the law before us. Until the actual law is published, no one currently knows what exactly will be prohibited with regard to LSD derivatives. Let’s face it: The governments of this world have always managed to put a lid on society’s unwanted fumes. That it would end was unfortunately certain. Therefore, there is currently no work being done on a follow-up derivative for Germany, as the prospect of success is essentially nonexistent.

This time, the news is devastating and truly marks the end of an era. We advise anyone who has gained some benefit from the substance described as magical and who wishes to conduct further research in the future to stock up now.

Please note: The prohibition of retroactive effects applies. If you can prove that you acquired the derivatives before the ban, you cannot be prosecuted for possession after the ban.

Original post

The debate about new LSD derivatives continues unabated and now 1S-LSD is also coming under the authorities’ scrutiny. Many are asking: Is 1S-LSD still legal?

And if so, for how long? We take a look at the current status, what has happened so far, and what awaits us in the fall of 2025.

What has happened so far

The Committee of Experts met on May 13, 2025. While official results have not yet been published, experience from recent years provides a clear indication:
As soon as a new LSD derivative lands on the agenda, it doesn’t take long for it to find its way into the New Psychoactive Substances Act (NpSG).

This happened with 1V-LSD in September 2022 and 1D-LSD a year later.

The Federal Council met on July 11, 2025, but without addressing the issue. And because there are no Federal Council meetings in August, one thing is clear: the decision will be made after the summer recess.

When will 1S-LSD be banned?

1S-LSD is currently legal – but the chances are slim that it will stay that way.
We firmly expect 1S-LSD to be banned in the fall of 2025. The next date this could happen is the Federal Council meeting on September 26.

We won’t know whether it will actually make it onto the agenda until about two weeks in advance – but the likelihood that the current draft will be approved is high.

One thing is clear: Even if there is theoretically a small remaining chance that 1S-LSD and other derivatives will be spared, it would be naive to count on it.

Is there a successor to 1S-LSD?

In recent years, the question following each new ban has always been the same:
👉 “What will Lizard Labs do next?”

The legendary chemists behind Lizard Labs were the ones who, over the years, repeatedly developed new, high-quality, and legal lysergamides. Starting with 1P-LSD, then 1cP-LSD, 1V-LSD, 1D-LSD, and most recently 1S-LSD. Their work made it possible for each ban to have a worthy successor.

But the situation has changed: Lizard Labs has withdrawn from the market.
And without them, there is currently no one with the same know-how, research, and resources to develop another stable and legal derivative for the market.

The synthesis of novel lysergamides is not a short-term project, but requires significant investment, highly specialized chemists, and the ability to overcome complex regulatory hurdles. Lizard Labs has been able to achieve this for decades. However, there is currently no one in sight to take on this role.

This is precisely why the potential ban on 1S-LSD seems so definitive:
For the first time since the introduction of lysergamide derivatives, there is no foreseeable successor. No new molecules have been announced or are in development, either in research labs or at the corporate level.

👉 If 1S-LSD is regulated, this could indeed mean the end of these derivatives.

When will it be banned?

As in previous years, the actual law will be published after the decision. This can occur any day after September 26th, or in October if the decision is delayed until then. Historically, publication has been within two weeks of the Federal Council meeting. It will take effect after publication in the Federal Gazette. We will provide timely updates, as we have done in previous years.

What does this mean for my order?

As long as 1S-LSD is legal, sales will continue as normal. But experience shows that the weeks leading up to a potential ban are chaotic:

  • Demand skyrockets.
  • Products often sell out faster than expected.
  • Shipping times may be slightly delayed due to the increased order volume.

We currently have sufficient stock in stock, but of course, this only applies while supplies last. Pellets in the 225 mcg range are already sold out. We currently only have remaining stocks.

If the ban comes into effect, shops will no longer be allowed to sell the substance – and orders after it comes into effect would no longer be possible.

👉 So, if you still need it, you should stock up in time.

Conclusion: The end of an era?

It looks like 1S-LSD will soon be history in Germany. 1S-LSD is still legal, but the window of opportunity is closing.

As usual, we’ll keep you updated as soon as there’s any new information—especially whether the topic will be discussed in the Bundesrat on September 26.

Until then: Stay safe—and stay informed. 🚀
